My mailbox is full of e-mails in which people ask me to tell them about history of PRIDE flag and answer them to some complex questions. Here some typical questions.

Koko, it's a cover of Pink Floyd's album "The Dark Side of the Moon", which was released in the 1973. How it was possible? In 1973 homosexuality was considered as a menthal disorder. And I've never heard than members of Pink Ployd were gays.

Maybe they supported homosexual people, puting a pride flag on the album's cover?

Dear Koko, could you, please explain me, why rock group Deep Purple used a large Gay Pride Rainbow at California Jam (April 6th 1974) ?

I am a fan of Deep Purple and I know that members of this group are not gays.

Koko. Recently I visited St.Petersburg in Russia. It was fantastic! Drunk bears with samovars of vodka and balalaikas in the street!  Must see it!

Near the Consulate General of the USA there is a drugstore with a gay rainbow on it's sign. I was very surpriced, "Drugstore for gays and lesbians!".


But in the drugstore they told me that it's a drugstore for normal people, not for homosexuals.  I asked them why on the drugstore's sign there is a gay rainbow? And they asnwered me that they hear about 'gay rainbow' for the very first time.

How you can explain it?

Okay, I'll answer. The fan of Pink Floyd was right. In 1973 homosexuality was considered as a menthal disorder. And only in 1994 American Psychiatric Association removed homosexuality from "the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders" (thanks to lesbo-feminist and liberal activists).

Fan of Deep Purple :-).  Attention! Test for lesbians! What is Deep Purple according to lesbian slang? If you don't know it, you are not 100% lesbian. Right answer is here.

And now about Gay Pride Flag. For the very first time it was used by homosexuals in 1978 at "San Francisco's Gay Freedom Celebration".  It was idea of Gilbert Baker to use it. Unfortunately we see that idea to use rainbow was not original, in other words ... Gilbert could not design or invent anything new. Sad to tell, but Gay Pride Flag was stolen from rock-music.

Sometimes people try to explain what different colours at gay flag mean. Many different explanations, and there is not one standard. Sometimes lesbians instead of purple stripe use black as a symbol of "masculinity". Sometimes gays do the same (black instead of purple) as a symbol of leather. Sometimes people add 7th (black) stripe under purple stripe as a symbol of gays who died of AIDS, and so on. So if you have an interesting idea, you can modify Gay Pride Flag.

Why homosexual men are more talented in art, literature and design then heterosexuals? Why homosexual men are more friendly and peaceful than heterosexuals? I spent plenty of time thinking about it. Maybe a brain of homosexuals is another than heterosexuals' one? Yes, it's truth.


I've found the answer to this question in "Encyclopedia of the Human Brain". I was right, gays and heterosexuals have different brain.

Some examples from Encyclopedia.

• "...the homosexual brain may be organized differently on a global level. No doubt, other differences in the structure of the brains of homosexuals will be discovered."
• "A cell group in the human brain that is about 2?3 times larger in males than in females or homosexual males."
• "However, to their surprise, the SCN was larger in homosexual men than in heterosexual men and women, despite the fact that there was no sex difference between men and women in terms of volume (Fig. 2)."
• "Sex differences in the human brain are particularly relevant to the etiology of homosexuality and transsexuality because it is believed by many scientists and physicians that certain regions of the brain may differ structurally in these individuals."
• "The SCN, like the INAH 1?4, has been examined for differences between heterosexuals and homosexual men, and an intriguing result was obtained (see later discussion)."
• "The homosexuals and transsexuals probably had significantly different hormone levels relative to the heterosexuals."
• "... for example, LeVay has reported that the size of INAH-3 is larger in heterosexual men than in homosexual men."

I'm not sure, but probably all it tells us that a brain of heterosexuals is closer to a brain of primates than a brain of homosexuals.

4/10/2007 was released new CD Naturally Artificial of Dutch DJ Eelke Kleijn. 15 tracks. Cannot tell that I'm happy with this CD, it's house without female vocal. Some tracks are simly boring. To buy CD one can from amazon or recordstore.
